Work With Me

Beth BerryMothers are the ultimate healers. We have unlimited potential to create change in this world. But we cannot cultivate the kind of change our hearts desire until we feel stronger as individuals and better supported by one another. We must restore our sacred sisterhood. We must remind the world of our worth.   ~Beth Berry

Dearest Mother,

Do you feel, deep down, that you are here to make a difference?

Do you often find yourself conflicted between the needs of your family, the needs of the world, and the desires of your heart?

Does it feel as if, no matter how hard you work and intentionally you live, your efforts will never amount to enough?

Do you long to feel more present, but feel pulled in a million directions by your many passions, commitments, and ideals?

Do you often make decisions as if your needs and desires don’t matter?

Are you so committed to the well-being of others that you often neglect your own?

Do you long for more clarity, inner peace, access to joy, and deep connections?

Welcome, Mama. I’m so glad you’re here.

If you answered “Yes” to several of the questions above, I invite you to take a deep breath, settle in for a few moments, and continue reading.

My greatest passion is supporting women as they navigate the complex and confusing terrains of empowered womanhood, conscious motherhood, intentional living, and personal growth.

My favorite clients are those with hearts of change-makers, who are committed to doing good in the world but so overwhelmed by our crazy culture and its many distorted messages that they often feel frozen with indecision, critical of their efforts, disappointed with others, and overwhelmed with desire and longing.

My ideal client is me nine years ago. I spent my first dozen years as a mother trying — with all my heart, soul, and bodily fluids — to do things right:

Right according to the parenting paradigms that made the most sense to me, right according to my counter-cultural convictions, right according to the feeling of magic I hoped to impart from my own childhood, and right according to all that my beautiful babies clearly deserved.

But the “right” way didn’t deliver.

No matter how eco their lunch boxes, organic our food, sacrificial my spirit, or attached my parenting style — I rarely felt relief from my frustrations. Like laundry and junk mail and car seat crumbs, they were always there, reminding me of all I’d yet to accomplish, all the chaos I couldn’t seem to calm, and all the goodness I couldn’t afford to provide.

I was doing the best I could. Yet by the measure of how I felt, I was just barely passing … even on my best day.

Today, twenty-one years into my mothering journey, and nine years into my journey within, I have abandoned the “right” way altogether. The right way wasn’t my way, it wasn’t born of my soul’s wisdom and heart’s guidance, which is why it led to so much stress and disappointment.

“Right way” thinking was keeping me from the life I deeply longed for. It was also keeping me from becoming the mother my children needed most (a thriving one).

The simple truth is that we all have the tools and answers within us to be versions of ourselves that feel and love fully. The reality is that we sometimes need guidance on how to tap into these inner resources. Beth’s guidance, support, and loving energy were just the elements I needed to illuminate the path within that would lead to answers I’d been seeking. Beth is an extraordinarily attentive listener; mirroring back what she hears from her clients. She is practical and kind, yet pushes clients to explore the outer limits of our perceived comfort zones of thought. Beth is reliable and professional. It’s evident that she gives freely of her heart, experiences, and knowledge to those with whom she works. She is a gift. ~Masharika

When women and mothers realize their fullest potential, we make it possible for the rest of the world to do the same. We’re the foundation of love and compassion and healing, which means that our well-being matters a whole lot.

My role as your coach is to help you realize your fullest potential so that you’re not only able to create a life you love, but so that all the world might benefit.

More specifically, I’m here to help you:

  • Untangle yourself from cultural norms and stories that are holding you back
  • Identify your needs and support you in better meeting them
  • Discover hidden strengths and help you see your own gifts and potential
  • Explore your shadows and reduce their impact on your life
  • Prioritize in ways that help you feel more powerful, aligned, and nurtured
  • Connect courageously and find your tribe
  • Create healthier boundaries within your relationships
  • Gain confidence in your ability to create change and deepen your self-trust.
  • Make meaning of and see the beauty within challenging circumstances
  • Cultivate a gentle, peaceful inner landscape that nourishes rather than punishes you
  • Build your toolbox of practical, powerful skills for feeling better, stronger, and more effective in creating change
  • Feel heard and safe and encouraged to be more YOU, not more perfect

We’re not meant to go it alone. Everyone dedicated to growing, doing good, and improving the state of the world deserves support, nurturing, and encouragement along the way.

I would love to co-journey with you for a time.

My work with Beth has been truly transformative. As I struggle through the despair of divorce, I find peace, clarity, and new perspective with Beth. Her voice alone is a gift: calm and steady as she helps me face my fears. Her questions are wise and provocative. Her ability to hold space and remind me that I have the strength within me is a true gift, and I’m so glad to have the honor to work with her! ~Carly

Where you are along your mothering journey doesn’t matter here. Whether single and seventeen (as I was when I started), or sixty-five and giddy with grandmotherhood, the important thing is that somewhere deep down, you know there’s more to your story and feel life could be better.

What To Expect

Working with me is possible from anywhere in the world via phone or toll-free conference call for international clients.

Sessions are 55 minutes long, and we typically meet once a week.

I am deeply committed to creating a safe, rich, non-judgmental space for my clients. Within this space there is room for laughter, tears, big emotions, epiphanies, accountability, letting go, filling up, questioning, heart opening, celebrating, planning, grieving, and soul searching.

Compassion comes easily to me. One of my greatest gifts is helping people to expand their understanding of, love for and relationship with themselves. This makes deeper connections and braver choices possible. You can expect a customized experience based on your unique needs, desires, preferences, and way of growing.

I started life coaching sessions with Beth a short time ago. I am anticipating a transitional time ahead in my life that Beth is very patiently helping me to navigate. It is not a small or easy thing for me to think about change, but Beth is so positive and a wonderful listener, gently prodding me to focus on what I want for my life as I go forward. It’s like talking with a good girlfriend who knows me really well, but who is objective and intelligent. I look forward to our talks and to what the future holds!  ~Johanna

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do we work together?

The answer to this question depends on where you are, how deeply you want to dig, and the kind of support you’re looking for. I prefer to work with people for a minimum of 12 sessions, as this allows for a holistic approach and a realistic timeframe within which to experience and recognize change and growth. Some people hire coaches to help them through a tough season, others appreciate ongoing support as a part of their wellness routine. The length of time we work together is entirely up to you.

Do you only work with mothers?

Though the majority of my clients are mothers, I am happy to work with anyone who feels ready to invest in themselves and resonates with my offerings. Please contact me with specific questions or book a connection session to get the ball rolling.

What kind of program or structure do you follow?

While some coaches follow a predetermined coaching “system,” I feel better able to meet my clients’ needs by tailoring each session to whatever feels most alive and “at the surface” for them on any given day. This way of working together feels more natural and fluid to me, and honors the organic, often messy, and less-than-linear process of growth.

Please reach out with any further questions you may have, or schedule your connection session with me here.

Beth Berry“The Mother of the Universe refuses to let me worship her outside myself anymore. She has withdrawn inside me and tells me if I want to know her, I have to come inside, too, which is the last place I want to be. Although she’s been telling me for years, she’s never gone to this extreme before — of actually hiding inside me. If I want to love her, I can only do it by loving myself now.”
